Thank you again for all of your help with my class project. I received several compliments on it last night at the auction. It was sold for $650 to the parents of a girl in my class. I think the dishes went for around $400. We had a good turnout and it seemed to be a success. I am attaching some pictures of my mirror with the children. We were visiting South Haven for the week from Lake Zurich IL.  My Sister and 18 year old niece from Livonia Michigan were visiting for the day.   It was a rainy day and I wanted to find something special we all could do together ( 2 adults and 4 girls ... 18, 17, 10 and 3 years old).

Everyone made a "one of a kind" creation!  I worked with Grace (3yrs.) to help her paint her special colorful pottery plate with a handprint on back - thanks to the great suggestion from Carol.   My sister and Carol helped the other girls with their glass creations.  There were so many pretty colors and types of glass to choose from.  Each of them made such unique choices for their artwork.

It was so cool to pick them up the next weekend when we came to Michigan.  Opening each one was like opening a new present.   The glass tiles are proudly displayed on our china cabinet for everyone to see.   We had a great time at Decorative treasures!!    We will definitely be back next summer when we enjoy our vacation time at the cottage again.     ~Natalie Trumbull~
